Boys Basketball The boys basketball team will play in the Subsection 5A championship game vs. Upsala tonight at Foley HS with a 7:00 start time. The player bus leaves at 4:30 and the pep band bus leaves at 5:15. Tickets must be purchased online or on-site with a credit card. No cash sales. Good luck guys! The dress up theme is Black-out.
Girls Basketball Congratulations to the girls basketball team for beating Pine River-Backus Friday night in the Section 5A championship by a score of 56-37! The girls have now advanced to the MSHSL Class A State Girls Basketball Tournament starting Thursday, March 12. The girls will play Mountain Iron-Buhl with an 11:00 a.m. start time. Good luck girls! The dress up theme is White-out.
Pep Fest We will be having a pep fest on Thursday morning to cheer on our girls basketball team prior to their State Tournament appearance. The plan will be for the pep band members to get set up right away in the morning in the West Gym. The rest of the students and staff will be excused right after the morning announcements to attend the pep fest. Once the pep fest is over, the pep band members will take all of their equipment and get it loaded on the pep band bus that will be leaving at 8:45 a.m. Those students attending the game via the fan bus will stay in the gym to get organized and will get set to also leave at 8:45, the same time as the pep band bus. The rest of the students will report to their 2nd hour class.
Weight Room There will be no morning weights on Friday morning of this week.
1975 Braham Girls Basketball Team In 1975, our girls basketball team played in the very first girls state basketball tournament. Players and coaches from that team want to make sure you can cheer on our girls on Thursday. The 1975 team has agreed to purchase up to 100 student tickets for Braham students to attend Thursday's game. If you would like to claim one of these tickets, please email Mr. Lind at dlind@braham.k12.mn.us. You may only request a ticket for yourself and siblings, (no getting a group for your friends). These tickets are electronic. When you email Mr Lind, you MUST INCLUDE YOUR CELL NUMBER TO RECEIVE THE TICKET AND YOU MUST HAVE YOUR PHONE WITH YOU AT THE GAME TO GET IN! There are 50 remaining tickets. The tickets will be on a first come, first served basis, but no requests after 3pm Wednesday.
End of Quarter #3 Just a reminder that the last school day for quarter #3 is Thursday, March 19. Be sure to finish strong in all of your classes!
